Crannoch works hard to show how much staff are valued and to
this end was the first Residential Child Care Establishment in Fife to be
registered as a Living Wage Employer, we have been awarded the Silver Award as
Investors in People and are ISO 9001 Registered.
Some of the benefits available to staff include a Pension
Scheme, Independent, and Confidential Counselling Services, Presents on
Birthdays and at Christmas, Birthday Day Off, Annual Appraisal, and an Alternative Therapist who
provides a variety of therapies such as massage and Aroma Therapy visits
monthly.
Crannoch supports staff to gain their formal qualifications
and provides a range of other development opportunities such as eLearning,
Training Courses, Seminars, and a Staff Development Plan that is produced
annually.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for applicants who enjoy working with children, have a good sense of humour, are trustworthy, and understand the needs of young people who have experienced Attachment Disorder and Trauma in their early lives.
It is the policy of Crannoch Residential Childcare Resource for every employee to have a minimum of two references and also joinThe Protecting Vulnerable Groups Schemeprior to commencing employment.
All applicants should have either a HNC in Social Services (or equivalent) or a SVQ3 in Social Care. However, Crannoch does support Staff to gain their qualifications.
